I love how this movie reflects on what Indy has done in the previous 4 movies, whether it’s through a callback of an action moment or the callback to a particular character.
This was a movie not just about the passage/weight/effect of time but also a resurgence by finally doing something he never really was able to do previously. Which was to literally make your mark on history/mythology/religion.
