Dear Kelly 2024
There's been a sort of raised sense of compassion in Andrew Callaghan's work upon returning to the public eye, which makes sense; I'm sure being called out for your own behavior causes you to take a look at what you put into the world.
I admire attempting to understand someone who's been radicalized into the world of the far-right, I think in my own life I've found my self self-estranging from my family at times due to their conservative values…

can confirm: the internet is a dark depressing place that eventually hollows you out til u disappear
this movie played right into the neuroses I've given myself over to lately, and has some genuinely horrifying ghost encounters. early digital/webcam footage is so glitchy, and leaves room for the viewer to guess whether a misplaced pixel is a ghost, or just a wonky screen.
the movie really tugged at my early experiences with the dark side of the internet, not being able to keep myself from looking at something even though I knew it'd cause me psychic damage. perfect for watching right before going to bed
