Was not expecting it to turn into a monster movie. Thought it would be more black mirror. Mark Ruffalo was great but sounded and acted like Trump the whole time, which was funny but took me out of it a bit. Not great acting from the woman who plays the wife of the general, Yilfa. Overall, I really liked it. Felt like a dream or like I was meditating. I feel like you need a good attention span though, don’t know if it’s really eye catching enough for kids. I was a little confused about the land and all the statues and where the humans were. My friend said it reminds her of a long screensaver.

I never got to meet my grandparents. But wow, weren’t they incredible? This film for me acts as a time capsule, giving me a small glimpse into the lives and personalities of my grandparents. And the relationship between them and my dad! I’m so glad that this is available for the world to see because they were truly beautiful souls.
