Somehow, Ryan Murphy turned a tragic story into his own sexual fantasy with the weird incest poster, the unnecessary nudity, and some scenes between the brothers. It’s truly sickening how they portrayed both Lyle and Erik as cold-blooded killers rather than actual victims who endured all that abuse. The show implies they were calculated, manipulative, and as if they were making some of the stuff up. I truly thought this was going to portray their story in a respectful way while also shedding light on how the justice system and everyone around the Menendez brothers failed them.
