Skyfall 2012
It feels like they were trying to make a Dark and Gritty Bond to go after the Dark and Gritty Batman's success. It didn't really succeed. The silly Bond bits are there but the Dark Grittiness pretty much kills them.
It also feels written by someone unfamiliar with the other Bond movies, and after only reading a brief booklet on the topic. I know this isn't true, they wrote at least a couple at that point.
