Fun and out of the box,
I had a few good laughs. The creatures were really cute. All the actors did a great job, but the characters were very over-the-top, almost cartoonish, which works great for comedy but isn’t particularly impressive.
I definitely had a good time and I have nothing bad to say, but it didn’t really move me, and I won’t be thinking about this movie for very long.
I didn't expect the happy ending given the authors fame, but it suits this lighter movie.
Wholesome and cute, good morals/message, great secundary characters which is nice, perfectly fit for children but still appealing to adults, so its a good time for the whole family.
But I felt there were a bit too many stories happening and in other to hit every single one of them, some felt a bit rushed. I just learned this is actually a book adaptation and I wonder if that's the reason.
A good movie nevertheless.
To watch this movie on a crowded cinema room is a must experience. It drew out of me the most visceral feelings I didn't even know where I buried them. That been said somewhere along the end it took me a bit out and it lost a star on the rating, the writers forgot they had to end somewhere
