Je n'ai jamais aimé l’horreur. Je me rappelle d’il y a deux étés, après avoir vu Blue Velvet en Tunisie sous open bar, le pesant et anxieux sentiment qui s’en était pris à moi. Ce genre (et son sous-genre psychologique, dont il est le cas ici et que Lynch manie à son paroxysme) me déplaît au point où, après bientôt 1k de films vus et la SF étant un de mes genres préférés, je n’ai toujours pas vu Alien.

Absolutely monumental 🗽
I got the chance to watch the Swiss premiere at the Geneva International Film Festival and the picture had me gripped from beginning to end. I felt like that was an evolution of cinema, like nothing as such had been made before.
Dont even look at the runtime and run see Adrien Brody kill it whenever this drops (The epilogue almost made me give it 5⭐️s)

How did they get footage from my dreams?
The movie is very beautiful and perfectly grasps what it feels like to dream and the coherence that comes along with that. It feels so special, disjointed and self-sufficient that its slow pacing becomes one of its strengths. This one is for the Jeanne Dielman fans!
