Great film. The two things that stood out to me the most was the sound design which made me feel like I was in a super intense thriller from the get go. Second is the cinematography, holy shit what a beautiful film. Each frame felt like a renaissance painting, which now that I’m saying it, is very fitting to the film. This movie was made with high precision and that’s something I very much appreciate. See you at the Oscars!

This is a different Tarantino… I never reallllyyyy understood the feet thing, sure he put Margo Robbie’s feet in a couple of scenes ever so often. But this movie is on another level of foot fetishes and horniness. I feel like at times, he went out of his way to add feet and soft porn scenes. Apart from all that I thought it was really interesting how experimental this film was with its editing and camera movements. But I didn’t…

This dude is just too good. I could see a lot of his photographic influence in this film, each shot was extremely beautiful and precise. I would have loved to see a bit more at the end but I did get the message. The dialogue was insane, it felt so effortless, just like the camera movements. None of the movements or lines felt rehearsed at all, it just felt like it was their first time speaking and moving in the space. Geat watch, excited to watch even more Kubrick!

What a movie. They really went above and beyond with every little detail, from the actors being the original actors from the real story, all the way to the set design and props being made at Sing Sing the actual prison. This film has a story behind the story and that to me makes an impactful film. The performances including the wonderful Colman Domingo are Oscar worthy, and the story Greg Kwedar created is worthy of one as well. Go watch it.
