  Even more so than the first movie this is much sillier than it is actually funny. Unfortunately while the first one was broadly entertaining, in this one the nonsense plot, unlikable characters and endless lazy, lame references to mainstream metal stuff made this a bit of a chore.

  The Kansai-ben and Yakuza talk made this way too hard for me to follow, but I think it was fun?

  A film so cliched and predictable I genuinely forgot this was supposed to be based on a true story. Still, it's pleasant enough and has a decent cast, but pretty sure this would be significantly better if they had made Emmanuelle the main character.

  Yet another one of those 30's dramas in which a spirited young woman inexplicably falls for some jerk, gets married, and gets into some trouble. Who were these films aimed at? Am I expected to believe that Norman Foster is in any way desirable? Or is the message more that, yes, even women who look like Loretta Young have to put up with unreliable men?

  In any case, the only thing to really recommend this is the banter between Winnie…
