Love this film. Loved seeing it on the big screen on new year's eve. I first wanted to see it because I was wondering what could possibly win Best Picture in 1960 that wasn't Hitchcock's Psycho and it was this. And well deserved.
Of the 96 Oscar Best Pictures, this has to be at the top. Maybe even the best one.
While this film isn't my favorite remake, it may be the best remake ever made. Felt like it. A more definitive Nosferatu film than the original 1922 silent film.
Need to see it again. It's not really comfort horror yet but it's very well done and makes me wonder what other horror silent classics can get this treatment. Perhaps The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari?
Another absolutely fantastic film from QT, maybe because of my recency bias, this feels like his best one yet, and most personal to me. Need more time to pass to get a little more grounded on this one.

It’s good. Love the period setting, wardrobe, production design, etc. also some narrative devices we don’t normally get to see. It’s an awards grab but much deserved.
Unconventional villain. Or antagonist. Nicely done. Does a better job of sticking the landing than American Fiction but still not as 100% as the rest of the film.
