  Lucius’s character is garbage. No rational for his motivations and loyalties shifting so wildly other than they really wanted him to be a copy-paste Maximus rather than a person with a lasting vendetta against Rome.

  Frenetic, funny, and gorgeously animated, yet the thing that really stood out about this film was the beating heart at the center of a surprisingly mature story. Truly a Last Wish for a genre that has all but completely lost its way.
