A 320 Million Dollar Money Laundering disguised as '90s Nostalgia Bait
I'm a huge fan of Simon Stålenhag's artwork but while "Tales from the Loop" felt like a somewhat dull adaptation, this film swings way too far in the other direction — almost like an overcorrection. It’s unnecessarily long and completely soulless. If they had replaced some of the robots with practical animatronics, the film would probably have been better — and the budget significantly lower.
