  I’ve been a big Mike Birbiglia fan since middle school, and I somehow only heard about this today at 2:00 PM. I guess the biggest reason for that is it’s not a stand up special. It’s a behind the scenes of how a special gets made special being touted as a stand up special because Peacock needs content I guess. It’s fine as that, and, if you don’t watch Mike’s podcast, I could see it being more eye opening rather than a very well produced retread of that

  The second half of this worked a lot more for me on a funny level than the first half, but I think that might be me taking time to get on PlayTime’s wavelength. I’m so here for comedy that’s willing to take a risk, and comedy that’s willing to put in the effort of being well-shot

  Can’t wait to hear other people’s interpretations of this. The lack of dialogue made the story’s big jumps more difficult to parse, but the animation was phenomenal enough that it doesn’t really matter. Definitely need another viewing to solidify my thoughts on it

  Also the discussion between Judge and Hertzfeldt was great, and the q&a was filled with great questions. A great evening and truly a blessing to not be cringing the entire q&a

  Really liked this. An interesting depiction of black female liberation from a culture that says they value them while fucking them over behind the scenes. Also just really fun to watch Pam Grier kick ass and exact some vengeance
