Everything works in this film. From the acting to the dialogue to the direction this film goes. There's a lot of subtlety to the performances and to the story that enhances how real everything feels. The dialogue is full of history (or lack of) that just help make each character feel three-dimensional. And the consistent, steady pace - which may seem slow if done in other films - works in this film.
