This is such a weird one, I remember I watched this multiple times when it came out because I was kind of into Brick and had been excited to see this. Beau Is Afraid 2023
I haven’t read any other reviews or analyses of this film but I'm probably not saying anything new. This film was a wild ride, a literal Anxiety Simulator. It borders on absurdly comedic how much goes wrong for Beau in this film, and that’s probably the point? It’s like if Mr Bean had depth and his mishaps were severely grounded in an unforgiving reality.
