  I was pleasantly surprised by this! Very pretty movie, and very sweet. I was actually kinda glad the trailer didn’t give much away at all- I was not super impressed with the comedy or the villain just from the trailer, but there was a lot more going on. Ended up being a great time!

  Kills are okay, but I expected more out of this. Pretty sure it was trying to be a comedy, but it certainly wasn’t succeeding. It was just kind of sad and needlessly cruel, and I really didn’t see the point in it by the end. Which to be fair might be the point, but when there are things as stupid as Bill and Hal’s final conversation, all semblance of meaning goes out the window. This needed to pick a tone.

  Really solid generational storytelling. Love that there's not really a good guy vs bad guy, you can see everyone's point of view and how each of them are alike in spite of their differences. World building is gorgeous.

  + good on them for referencing the past while also being an unashamedly modern movie.
