  “this is a garden and, we’re all flowers” My heart is so full!!
  Judy is so right for saying the profession is so undervalued. I had just turned 24 when I first got my job at the library, now I turn 3 years working there and I just became a librarian last year. I honestly didn’t expect to fall in this kind of job but it’s so fulfilling in many ways. This movie is so close to home, like Im kinda living Mary’s life rn which is crazy to think about. I need more party girl librarians in movies.

  One star because I kinda liked how trauma was visually represented. Second star because I genuinely cared for the characters but I don’t know if I can watch this again.

  The bright neon lights from the carnival and arcade, to the nostalgic high school hallways all casted in this moody existential dread in search for your true authentic self hits close to home. I felt very empty and sad towards the end and I don’t know how to feel about it. There’s still time, and I hope it’s true. Definitely need to rewatch. Amazing soundtrack ❤️‍🩹🙂‍↕️

  I love a good feel-good romantic comedy. Drew Barrymore is such a doll in this one, I’d fall for her too. And ngl Adam is kinda 🤭 in this one, I’m always impressed by his musical talents, like he’s genuinely a good musician. 

  I saw this again with my mom recently and it’s good to just enjoy a funny movie kinda satirizing the 80s nostalgia by just referencing every possible 80s pop culture phenomenon in a movie but still appreciating for what it is.
