  my Sam appreciation arc as well..

  atmosphere was smelling film noir, super soldiers and government secrets and i was inhaling.
  Cinematographed well enough.

  then for a reason we got served silly pink trees and poor Japanese cultural representation efforts

  Dead poets society if they all hated each other and it was Christmas (less poetry more ancient greek philosophy)

  Plot is practically unmiserabling the protagonists without the fairies and the glitter [rich yet unfortunate class trope]

  Contains unfoldment of humans’ emotional cosmos *white heart emoji*.

  ‘He is not entitled to my story, i am’ LIVE BY THAT.

  Bittersweet.

  +Good photography
  +Smart colour code
  +Plot twist
  +excellent acting faces (curly haired girl moment of realisation up close shot)
  +not the classic linear thriller trope where everything is supposed to be scary and at the edge, you experience a back and forth trip from ‘everything good’ to ‘concerning clues we don’t yet know what they mean’
  +no supernatural/ no jumpscare, pure realistic horror/thrill that comes from human actions

  -Unpleasant theme

  +/- ‘happy’ end but at what cost

  Objectively a vvvv decent production, subjectively wouldn't give a rewatch
