  Not unlike many others, I did really enjoy the first two acts of this film. Lucie’s trauma manifesting as the films monster, whilst not a new concept, is one I enjoyed particularly in how this movie portrayed it. Lucie’s obvious hallucinations leads the audience, like Anna to presume Lucie is insane and has senselessly murdered an innocent family, which makes the beginning of the second act an excellent payoff.
