This movie absolutely crushed me it allowed me to reflect on my own addiction and sympathize with what my parents went through. I started crying within the first minute of this movie in the opening scene and continued to sob and cry for pretty much the rest of the movie.

And the crowd is confused… glorifying DV… and having contact w your abuser after you left them. Wtf. Like yay that she ended up getting with a good guy but the movie would be much more impactful if it did not have a happy ending.
