Men Behind the Sun 1988
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Not gonna lie, it’s pretty admirable Mou’s effort to make the movie as realistic as possible. And realism in a movie is something that I value a lot. But the real autopsy footage caught me completely off guard.
About the animal cruelty scenes, even though it’s present in other exploitation movies (mostly shockumentaries), this is clearly not a documentary as most of them, it was Mou’s choice to use real animals.
Also, I didn’t really understand how the boys managed to beat the shit out of their superior with wooden clubs and go unpunished for this.
Besides that, it’s ok, I guess?
