Another one of those insanely disturbing movies and a totally unpleasant watch. Nonetheless, it really hits at a type of pure unconditional love that I maybe have never seen before in a movie. Understandable if this movie is unwatchable for some.

The Turin Horse 2011
It’s really like nothing I’ve ever seen, and I think it’s a true masterpiece. I actually can’t think right now of a movie that is more visually stunning. And philosophically it really got under my skin in a way that I didn’t expect and that few films do.
It’s very very slow and much more like art than a traditional movie. So be warned, this is the sort of thing that demands a ton of energy and patience to watch…
