This movie wanted to talk about social anxiety, anxiety in general, and depression, but its way to communicate was quite enforced through the absurdism of body horror. Maybe it could’ve worked with a more seasoned director.
This movie is way worse than you can imagine. Very amateur, looks like garbage and makes no sense at all. Poor acting, low-budget effects and props, and this is just the surface. Don’t watch this film.
Also, if the director/writer has some issues with women, please seek for help.
Creep is a tense found-footage styled movie about a stalker and his victim. It’s incredibly effective nevertheless you can’t see a single drop of blood in the entire film.
However, the suspense lasts until the end of the movie and the topic is eerie on its own to hold the viewer in their seats.
The writing is smart, both of the actors are talented, and the found-footage style suits the movie well.
