  It felt like it was trying SO HARD to be smart and offer a critique on the ignorance of american culture but it just ended up looking really stupid. I saw an omage to Eyes Wide Shut and some shit that felt like it came right out of Safe but was overshadowed by all the obscenely horrible dialogue and character development. Every single character felt underbaked — like I couldn’t care less about any of these people.

  First of all, I want to say that I think Christopher Nolan is so fucking overrated. The editing in this movie is choppy, the writing gets unbearably corny at times, and the sound is just... oh my fucking god.
