I Saw the TV Glow 2024
Nahh I’m not giving this a pass cuz it has a24 aesthetics and plenty of indie rock bangers. Too slow and disjointed, just because you have (quite) uncomfortable scenes intermixed with minute long silences doesn’t mean you made a successful thriller or horror to me.
I’m not even a big horror fan (I feel like this also only loosely qualifies tho it’s categorized as one) but I also think a24s success with great R rated horror movies made this fall…

Such good dialogue feels like you’re listening to real people you know talk and a really heartfelt story while also keeping somewhat light and very funny. Great performances too, I guess this qualifies as a rom com but definitely a bit more emotional than it is cheesy, and as a sucker for rom coms this is one of the best ive ever seen
