  Challengers is truly like no film I’ve ever seen before.

  The tennis matches are helmed in consistently different ways and are always extremely exciting. Multiple shots and editing choices blew my mind. The music by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross that plays alongside these tennis sequences is equally innovative and intense. Guadagnino carries this music to the off-the-court argument sequences, connecting these characters’ intense, personal back and forth in their tennis matches and arguments.
