This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
An old man fondly reminiscing about his past while travelling to receive a condecoration he despises. Facing his own mistakes towards others and the finiteness of life. Realizing at the end that he, who used to think of himself as a very smart man, was nothing more than a fool. This movie made me wonder about lots of things. Absolutely beautiful and touching! Bergman’s existentialism at its finest!
