In this sequel Arthur Fleck nestles in his madness made of music, songs, hysterical dances and colors in stark contrast with a dark and indifferent society that rejects him.
A society that wanted to put a mask on him making him an example of denunciation, redemption and rebellion, but which stays "just" a mask anyway.
The end (and what an end it is!!!!!!!) proves it. It takes you literally off guard but at the same time it's the perfect conclusion…

Not easy to digest 'cause it hits home hard but this movie screams caring and intimacy every second and it's impossible for me to not love it.
The italian title is "Choice of love" and I think there' s nothing to add, I can't help putting the plot before the cinema technicisms here.
I find the acting natural and delicate, Julia shines from beginning to end and her stunning red curls make her the perfect Klimtish red beauty that destiny brought into Victor's life.
Dualism between love and art is the sweetest just like the message of hope and unconditional support in the end.

Ten minutes that are so intense and captivating to feel like a length feature film already that definitely makes you want to listen to all the audios/stories and want more of it all.
Dorian Gray will always be one of the most fascinating characters ever written and this short captures all his complex soul so well, with a brilliant mix of contrasts that perfectly mirror his life's events... from the brightness of the scene while the artist creates the immortal…

Rom com's need to be watched with the right mood, lightness and perspective.
The trailer gave too much away but it got me at "Breathless" already with a jump back to the sweet teen years and I couldn't help melting and let soon this lightness sink in.
Photography is brighter than bright but it's a good combo with the stunning locations.
Plot, dialogues and twists may be simple and predictable but the cast is good and someone definitely stands out…
