  really shows that desire to know the afterlife and the lengths people will go to find out, as well as the abuse of women by a domineering society that sees them as tools and objects rather than actual people. i’ve never felt so close to vomiting—many times, honestly—while going through this movie. i’ve never seen the main protagonists doomed to such a fate like that. absolutely horrifying.
