fantastic directorial debut! really liked it. it's funny, dark, pretty out there, and colin farrel weird and spazzy demeanor really makes his character shine through. definitely worth the watch.

this film is hard to talk about. like it's difficult to find the words. i've seen it three times now and i'm not really sure i understand it. but i sure as hell did feel it.
feel what though, exactly? uh, some kind of despair and melancholy? except it's not all negative. there's hints of bittersweet nostalgia and acceptance in there too.

The House 2022
dark, unnerving, creepy. bright, funny, uplifting. this three-piece anthology film manages to be everything at once without sacrificing quality or giving you whiplash.
really well-made stop motion with fur dolls à la wes anderson, my favourite of the short stories was probably the third one (Listen Again and Seek the Sun), but all three were brilliant.
