  Much more fun than I anticipated. Enjoyed seeing Evans play the type of sleazeball he was known for in the early 2000s. Some of the visuals were just bit TOO derivative of the MCU for my taste but that was probably intentional. Overall pretty fun though.

  Bateman is great. Egerton was really good too. Some nice twists and turns but the movie started to lose my attention in the third act. They could have shaved 20-30 minutes off and it would have been a better movie. Also that car wreck scene felt very out of place and gratuitous.

  John Leguizamo is the only interesting human in this movie. Everyone else is so bland. The smart zombie plot was fun but dragged down by boring humans. That big war bus thing kicks ass though.

  Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls 2023

  I’ve always enjoyed Andrew Bowser’s Onyx sketches on YouTube and TikTok. But when he announced a movie about the character I was skeptical. This movie is a lot of fun though. Andrew as Onyx gives some great laugh out loud moments punctuated by hilarious line delivery. Jeffrey Combs chews up the scenery. The practical effects and puppet monsters are great. Just a goofy good time.
