The Holdovers is a light, enjoyable film that occasionally brings tears to your eyes, but not in a heavy way; instead, it warms your heart and leaves you feeling good afterwards. I love the dynamic of the trio, how their characters grew fond of each other despite the constant bickering at the start. The film's conclusion and each character's deserved ending resonated with me. The storytelling approach is also noteworthy. Surely, this film will become new material for teachers to introduce to their students, as I've grown tired of Dead Poets Society.
