Decent overall, good even, however it doesn't compare well to the source material. The movie had a good story that diverged from the original and felt intelligently done. My main complaint was that character development outside of the Major wasn't done especially well. A couple Easter eggs like on the majors tombstone and the usage of a revolver by one of the team members as well as the diving scene paid a good homage to the original I think as a standalone (complex? Haha) it is decent if compared to the original it looks mediocre and heavily westernized.
