First third is pretty decent, then it gets progressively worse. A couple of the central relationships are completely dead, the obviously fictional villain character is deadly cornball, and every scene with john belushi is dead in the water. A lot of the movie rests on imitation of huge stars of comedy gone by, but the most just come off as a pale imitation, or else a kindly gesture to a lesser known "Don't Forget This Guy Was Here Too!" situation.…
