  some films are just made for you.
  Without hesitation, this is one of my favourite films ever. It is the kind of film that I would dream of making.

  a real accomplishment. a film i wish the late fredric jameson would have written on.

  adequately titled, the use of sound in the film is memorable, creating both a sense of place and a sense of foreboding. the sounds and images combine to provide in turn a realist depiction of daily life and a horror-inspired gesture towards the violence that subtends that daily life.
