Interstellar 2014
An amazing experience of a sci-fi film, especially when being re released in IMAX after 10 years. Really blends scientific concepts with beautiful imagery, akin to Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. One of the best sci-fi films. The film is still fresh in my mind, so I’ll process my thoughts throughout the week or so

Miller's Girl 2024

Last film I watched at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
Overall, Miller’s Girl was alright especially with performances from Jenna Ortega and Martin Freeman. In terms of what I liked about the film, aside from the main cast, was the imagery of the fantasy sequences and some of the camera work.
Other than that, for a 1.5 hour movie, there is so much left to be desired, ranging from the subject matter (I wished there was more emphasis despite its heavy weight) to some weird music choices.
May need to rewatch when it comes out in two weeks.
