Most intense and haunting film I have laid my eyes on. The use of sound design, something so unique to this film completely builds the film’s meaning and creates such a bone chilling discomfort to the viewer. It forces us into the Hoyas’ family’s banal lifestyle while we sit wondering so strongly why aren’t we focusing on the suffering happening in the background? It forces us to question our complacency in real life suffering of others, do we ignore it…
