I really liked this movie. I just love the concept. Experiencing a day in his life, section by section. I could watch a series with multiple seasons of this and never get bored. It has a strong documentary-like feel, which is enhanced by his incredible acting. And on top of that, the desire to visit Japan is huge. What a wonderful culture.

Okay, I couldn’t enjoy this romance at all or take it seriously in any way because Scarlett Johansson was literally underage. Plus, their only connection is that they both feel alienated in this foreign culture in Japan. And Japan itself is completely incidental. They might as well have been making out on a spaceship because her boring boyfriend was too dumb and got abducted by an alien or something…
