Princess Mononoke 1997
Just saw this the 4k restoration in IMAX and let me say there have been very few theater experiences that have left me feeling this good. Not only is this a profound commentary on industrialization and the human spirit to begin with, the sound and image restoration made it hit me in the heart all the harder. Highly recommend seeing it this way if ever possible

If I could give this a 3.25 stars I would. Was incredibly slow paced but in comparison to movies like I’m Thinking of Ending Things I thoroughly enjoyed this. The timeless vibe everything had was awesome, and I loved the casting/costume design. Wish the plot was a little deeper but I guess that’s the point

I had this strong feeling of fear and confusion throughout watching this film. It was funny and whimsical in a way I loved but also was so aggressive and tense that I really couldn’t decide how to feel while watching. I would love to watch this again in the future and see how it feels then
