Final Destination 2 2003
Not quite as good as the first film but still so much fun and I reference multiple moments in my day to day life. The kills here are probably my least favourite out of any of the films aside from maybe one or two unfortunately. The cast is all great although it is one of my least favourite out of the series and the characters are mostly pretty forgettable outside of the cop and teacher. Was extremely surprised by this movie because my partner put it on because we were in a b movie mood and this was not what I expected. Heart Eyes 2025
My partner chose the Valentines movie this year and decided on Heart Eyes and with me having very low hopes because the trailer didn't look great I was stunned. The film was legitametly really good which shocked me weirdly, the cast is amazing (I adore Mason Gooding and Devon Sawa) and the kills were really inventive and extremely gorey was surprised me. The humor also worked really well and it had me fully laughing way more than expected and the romance was also really sweet. A surprise start of the year between this and Companion which makes me extremely excited for the rest of the year.
