  I don't know what I expected, but I was still disappointed. It couldn't even get the glorification of violence and drugs right.

  The opening sequence was utterly brutal and caught me entirely offguard. The second act seemed to be fairly standard fare, however the twist genuinely surprised me, which is rare, especially in a kids film.

  What starts off as a glitzy world of an interesting what if turns into some kind of badly done refugee story that somehow manages to be both brutal yet in very poor taste.

  Somewhere in the middle of the second act the film even managed to forget what the main premise was and just turn into a completely different thing.
