  Just rewatched in IMAX. 
  Now that’s a movie! A true masterpiece. Just as incredible and perfect on the second watch. One of my all time favorite films of all time. If I was forced to make a top 20 films of all time list this would easily be in it. Maybe even top 10.

  Really enjoyed this one. Watch it cold without seeing any trailers. I feel like it would add to the experience. Coulda easily been on the nose in typical Hollywood fashion but wasn’t. Depth to this film. Sebastian Stan crushed it too.

  Didn’t know if it wanted to be a satire or serious period film.
  Battle scenes were amazing though. Costumes, set design and all that were great but the movie didn’t properly explore who napoleon was. Just showed him as childish and kinda dumb. Didn’t properly explore his true motivations, why he was so ambitious, how much of a genius  general he was or why the soldiers loved him.
  Also this was one of the rare Joaquin phoenix performances I didn’t…
