The French Dispatch 2021
Wes Anderson makes this as difficult to follow as possible it feels. I still enjoyed it a lot. Most of the tales are intriguing. I thought the student riot part was a little dull however. Made up for by the incarcerated artist and the kidnapping of a police commissioner’s son.

I’m quite new to Wes Anderson films. To be honest I was blown away by this film. I loved the unique style of directing, the all star cast, the soundtrack and the intensity which was maintained throughout.
The plot is full of twists and turns which I appreciated.
Ralph Fiennes portrayed his character with impeccable style and exuberance, ensuring that there was never a dull moment.
William Dafoe was also class.
Intense, gripping, entertaining, and thought-provoking.
