    Coralie fargeat is becoming a serious contender for favourite film makers. Revenge was already one of my favourite horror films and so I had big expectations for this and it did not disappoint. 

    This was EVERYTHING. Both a love letter to cinema and a scathing satire on Hollywood and addiction in the industry. 

    This was like black swan but instead of being for the dramatic theatre gays it was made for the gays who did drugs and went to parties 😂 

    Literally I loved this. It went then. And then went there again. And then went beyond and then somehow went even further.

    I haven’t felt this mixed on a film in a while. 

    This film was strikingly beautiful and inventive and unlike anything I’d seen. An amalgamation of genres and styles. It was like a marvel movie meets a Cold War era movie. A neo noir, futuristic, sci fi, political, opera about the fall of Rome through the lens of New York? I think the vision behind it was incredible.

    This was brutal!! My partner and I are going to Argentina in the new year and so we were excited to see this Argentinian film being talked about coming to shudder.
