Monster House 2006
Just rewatched this recently, it is amazing. Not only are the characters great (besides chowder but he’s a little shit) the writing is good, it shows realistic scenarios of kids trying to figure out what to do with/without adult help. The shots are also good with long shots that feel eerie and tracking close ups that are also unnerving. Of course this is a kids movie from the 2010s but it still holds up today especially with humor this movie is still hilarious. Anyways I love this movie

As a horror movie viewer, this movie kinda fell flat. This movie wasn’t scary, and the effects on some injury’s looked a little wonky.
