  I have never been so enamored yet perplexed by an ending of a movie. The movie is, overall, fantastic but I'm not sure if I loved it. Extraordinarily abrupt but I believe that is kind of the point.

  RIP to the best filmmaker to ever live. As soon as I saw the news, I knew I would watch this movie later that night. Laura weeping at the sight of her angel returning is the best scene in film history and nothing will ever come close. Unlike most directors, David Lynch approached violence with extraordinary tenderness and profound understanding for its victims. He was also incredibly funny and didn't give a single shit about box-office or accessibility. Without a doubt the most important director to me and to American cinema. We are lucky to have been able to experience and immerse ourselves in his dreams.
