  I came in with the lowest of expectations, and it met them. Why, Gervais, why? Hollywood won't fund his movies anymore, which is hardly a surprise given some of the utter bollocks he's churned out (The Invention of Lying, anyone?).   A visual, philosophical ciné-poem ruminating on the destructive nature of war; on humanity; and on nature itself. The stunning, hallucinatory images are juxtaposed by the sheer violence and carnage. A phenomenal film.
