I don’t know. I watch films?
Well most of these aren't THAT great. But hey, someone bought the script and thought it was.
It’s just... not as great “In the Mood for Love” but still better than a lot of sequels.
I enjoy watching films where the protagonist goes through the gauntlet of love and fail each time and see how he overcomes. But this is eerie with the two storylines that are really one?
I don’t know, but it was still a good film
Definitely fuckin better than the other by a LONGGGGGG SHOT.
I am a sucker for character development and this scratched the itch, pat my head, and held me nice and tight. Everything was promised and more because also a DC comic book nerd, this is great in respecting most of the source material.
But I will hate Ben Affleck as the Dark Knight as much as I hated George Clooney in "Batman & Robin". You can hire a nice face, but…
It did everything that I thought would happen with a sequel and more. They even joke about the same fact...
The plus is the musical additions in this one are great, but it wasn't enough to rescue it from the not off-the-wall humor that was in the first one, the cheesy (yes, it could be cheesier than the first one) plot, and the repeat jokes that do not complement, add, or better the previous, only making them worse.
2.5 stars…
