I think this was only my second proper watch of of this film, considering it was his first it’s incredible, great dialogue and a great start to a genuinely incredible career.
Terrific, I’ve been in the mood for a Wes Anderson film recently but didn’t have the time, this was perfect for both.
An interesting look at the integrity and more importantly the morality of broadcasting, especially news broadcasts around sensitive events, something that news is often rightfully criticised for is putting there achievement of being first over the emotionals and respect of family, and victims of said events. I think this portrayed the internal conflict between morals and reporting news first really well.
