Typical Wes Anderson beauty and cinematography. Every shot is eye catching and artistry. The story here is interesting as well as profound. A poignant message that’s chanted to you by members of the cast while still subtly dripped onto the screenplay. It feels as though it speaks to the third dimension, we, the viewer, watch a play within a movie. Some moments the play breaks through it’s own fourth wall and the story is moved into the lives of these actors, recognizing the universal aspect of the message. All around I adored the writing. Ranks second as my favorite Wes Anderson film.
